I have been coaching women, and some men, for well over a decade now. During this time I’ve had many
extremely successful, accomplished, and talented women as clients.

And one thing stands out for me. No matter how much a woman accomplishes, most feel inadequate and insecure if they don’t feel good about their appearance, especially if they are overweight.
Most women feel tremendous pressure to live up to societies’ expectations that a woman be attractive
and a normal weight. If she falls short of this, it can make it really hard for a woman to own all her other accomplishments. She can be the greatest mother, a wonderful wife, and have a successful career, and still feel like a failure.

unworthiness by reminding yourself that there is nothing you need to do to be worthy. You're worthy simply because you're alive, a human being, and a child of God.
Below are 12 ways to remind yourself that your'e worthy.
1. Spend regular time in nature. Does the marigold spend time wishing it was a rose? No. It relishes in its beingness. Nature is a
great teacher. You too are part of nature and have a place in the cosmic order of things.
2. Write a "What's good about me" list. Write down all the wonderful qualities you possess. List your accomplishments
too. This will give you a larger perspective on who you are.
3. Stop comparing yourself to others on Facebook and the media. It's so easy to get caught up in thinking other people have it better, but the
truth is, you don't know the whole story. Everyone is wounded and has problems. No one gets out of this life without suffering. 4. Get a hobby! Hobbies are a source of joy. They can bring endless hours of fun, learning, and happiness as you lose yourself in the process of learning or
exploring a new world.
5. Grow something. Plants are an endless source of fascination and it's rewarding to see them bloom and/or bear fruit or vegetables. Getting to eat them is an extra
bonus!
6. Ditch toxic friends and family members. Life is too short to hang around people who bring you down, or belittle you in some way. Surround yourself with people who enjoy you as a person. Cultivate friends who encourage your growth.
7. Make something. Creating something with your hands is very rewarding. Having an avenue of self-expression like arts and crafts is very healing as you lose yourself in the process and then have something to show for
it.
8. Spend time with animals. Animals are a great source of unconditional love and you can truly be yourself with them. Being adored by a dog or cat feels great!
9. Cook yourself nice meals. When you cook yourself something nice it says, "I matter." You're worth feeding properly. Your body and your moods will thank you for it!
10. Meditate. By spending time in stillness, you will go beyond the chattering egoic mind and access the higher self. This self knows that you are love itself. When you can actually be love, you no longer need to look for love; it’s been within you all along. 11. Repeat affirmations. I am perfect as I am. I am worthy of all good things. I am love. I am a child of God. I am deserving of my own love and care.

12. Start a loving kindness practice. Look in the mirror daily and say, "May you be well. May you be happy. May you be free of overeating today."
