Hello , Early on in my coaching career, I sometimes referred to myself as a "Law of Attraction Coach." I had created a small course on losing weight with the law of attraction (which I still sell) because I'm a true believer in it. I've used the law of attraction to manifest many
things in my life. Unfortunately, I often attracted individuals who would come to me wanting to lose weight but thought all they had to do was to not focus on food being fattening and somehow the weight would just melt off! If it were only that easy, they wouldn't need to hire a coach! You can't wish, hope, or think your way to permanent loss. You need a
firm grasp on reality in order to change your reality. The law of attraction is a universal principle that states that you attract to you what you are. “Like attracts like.” The law of attraction forms the basis for positive thinking but is much more than that. With your beliefs,
thoughts, feelings, and actions, you energetically vibrate at a certain frequency, and you attract circumstances, people, and things into your life that vibrate or are aligned with that frequency. For example, if you think predominately angry thoughts you will attract
angry people and experiences into your life. The quickest way to attract more positive experiences in your life is to think more positively. The law of attraction states that you create your reality through the power of your thoughts and feelings. Your thoughts create your feelings and beliefs, your beliefs create your attitudes, and your attitudes influence and
shape your actions. While you don’t have control over everything that happens to you, you do have full control over how you react to the things that happen to you. How you interpret the events in your life determines your reaction to those
events. You also have the power to choose your own thoughts, beliefs, feelings, attitudes, and actions. In this way, you have the power to create your own reality. Unfortunately, weight loss is a very complex subject. You can't just think positive thoughts, do visualization, and the weight will drop off. You also need to look at all the mental blocks that are keeping you from losing weight, as well your behaviors, beliefs, and attitudes. Often, you will come up against deeply ingrained conditioning and
self-limiting beliefs that you've carried with you for years. When you do this work and let go of these blocks, you let go of a tremendous amount of spiritual, mental, and emotional weight. You then begin to vibrate at a much higher level. You begin to see the world through different eyes. This is the law of attraction in action. Your body begins to respond to these internal changes and no longer wants to be weighed down by excess food. When you feel better, you eat
better! At this point, weight loss can become pretty effortless. It takes work to let go of all this and it also takes time. I laugh when people contact me, learn this, and say, "Oh, I thought this would be a very quick deal!" As if I'm going to wave some magic wand over them, and poof, the problems are all gone! So, if you're interested in losing weight with the law of attraction, the first thing to look at are all the blocks that
are keeping you from being your best self. These bring you down and keep your from manifesting your highest good. It is really a process of letting go of all that doesn't serve you (foods, behaviors, attitudes,thoughts, people, situations, etc.) and getting in alignment with all that does.
