I applaud anyone who has the guts to reach out for help. I’ve been there and it’s not easy. But it’s so worth it if you want to have a quality life.
As humans, we get stuck
in ruts and often can’t get out of them on our own. So, if you’re tired of living in your rut, please contact me. I’d love to be of service. Helping people change is my passion.
Speaking of passion, I’m amazed at how many people don’t have any. They’re just existing, going through the motions of life. I’ve always been a very passionate person. I’m blessed in that way. But there were times in my younger life where my passion was
misplaced in seeking perfection, food, drugs, alcohol, and bad relationships. My wisdom has been hard earned.
Most people don’t have any passions simply because they are tied up in self-destructive patterns that don’t serve them.
Think of all the psychic energy and attention you give to your food and weight issue. What if that were gone? You’d then be freed up to pursue other more
meaningful things in life.
Which leads to the question: What is a meaningful life?
A meaningful life is a life that you live based on what is personally meaningful to you. It’s a very individual thing. You have to get to know yourself on a deep level to know what is most important to you.
Once you identify those
things, you need to be willing to invest your time and attention to those things. That’s where sacrifice comes in. You prioritize what’s important to you and let other things that aren’t in alignment with that go. You can’t have it all. That’s a myth.
Your actions reveal your priorities. Talk is cheap. If you want something, as a coach, I want to see what you’re willing to do about achieving it. That’s the bottom line.
As we head into another year, I want you to ask yourself what you’re willing to do differently next year.
Then make a plan to do just that. And if you need help, I’d love to accompany you on your journey to a more meaningful, healthy, and passionate life!
Many
blessings,
