Lost 18 Pounds So Far!
It’s been so great to have someone listen and help me identify the patterns that have been
holding me back. I was finally able to recognize the underlying reasons I’m compelled to binge eat. I used food as a source of comfort because I didn’t have other outlets for self-care, and have been holding myself to an impossible standard that nobody could
ever live up to. I was caught in a cycle of self-loathing, and all my other weight loss efforts came from a place of hating my body rather than nurturing and loving myself.
I’ve recognized long held issues that I’ve had since childhood about perfectionism, and I’ve been given tools to really listen to my body again, instead of bingeing through the point of being full, I’m able to stop and recognize that I’m

Therapy has given me coping mechanisms for dealing with the difficulty of life, but working with Catherine has helped me see the patterns of why I became overweight.
So far, I’ve lost 18lbs! I’m going for 60 to be back in a healthy weight range, but it doesn’t sound intimidating now!
