Complaining is a destructive force. It tears down rather than builds up. Many women bond by complaining, gossiping, and sharing miseries. It's ok to complain once in a while, but if it's your go to, then it's got to go.
Complaining is a favorite activity of passive, stagnant people who have resigned themselves to mediocre, unchanging lives.
Complaining can be the way people with a victim mentality garner attention and sympathy. Unfortunately, it cements them to the problem, instead of the solution. Complaining simply generates more negative energy which leads to a downward spiral towards more unwanted
behavior.
The antidote to complaining is action. Action generates positive emotions, motivation, and an upward momentum. This is how you utilize the law of attraction to manifest the results you’re looking for.
Either do something about the situation or accept it and stop talking about it. People get tired of hearing about the problems you're not willing to do anything about. Soon, they lose respect for you. I once had a client who told me she had alienated all her friends and family because of her constant complaining about her food and weight issue. She then hired me as a coach and it quickly became apparent she had no interest in taking any sort of action; she had hired me so she had someone to complain to. She never completed her assignments or took any action, and even
though she admitted she was getting nowhere, she felt the need to constantly complain about the problem, as if by her complaining something would magically happen. Of course it didn’t, and I was relieved when our time was over. If you see yourself in this, it may be time to put your feet where your mouth is. Stop talking about it and get some coaching or join a group and begin to take action. You
