Protecting Your Energy
When we must go to a gathering where we know there will be toxic individuals, or if we’re prone to taking on other people’s energy, I recommend
The White Bubble Technique.
The "White Bubble Technique" is a visualization method used for personal energy protection. It involves imagining oneself enveloped by a bubble of white light, serving as a shield against negative energies and external influences. This practice is common in meditation, Reiki, and mindfulness disciplines.
Steps
to Practice the White Bubble Technique:
Find a Quiet Space: Choose a calm environment where you can sit or stand without interruptions.
Relax and Center Yourself: Close your eyes and take deep, slow breaths to achieve a relaxed state.
Visualize the White Bubble: Imagine a radiant white light
emerging from within, expanding to form a spherical bubble that completely surrounds you.
Set Protective Intentions: Mentally affirm that this bubble allows only positive energy to enter, deflecting negativity.
Maintain the Visualization: Hold this image for several minutes, reinforcing the sense of protection and tranquility.
Regular practice of this technique can help maintain emotional and energetic boundaries, especially in challenging or toxic environments.
Social Situations
Before you go into social situations, envelope yourself in the white bubble. When someone says something triggering or negative, imagine the comments bouncing off the white
bubble.
Once you get home, sit down, on the floor or even on the toilet, and imagine that any negative energies are being released from the bottom of your spine and tailbone. Visualize them as a dark grey smoky energy. Imagine the energy is returning deep into the bowels of the Earth, to be transformed back into light. Now imagine, white light coming into your body from above your head. See yourself filled with the white light.
Visualize yourself surrounded and protected by the light.
These are but a few of the techniques I teach my clients to protect themselves from negative people and energies. Try them and let me know if they work for you!
